Are you looking for part-time preschool for your little one during the school year? First Kids is the perfect place to play, learn, and grow! We’re a licensed preschool for children 3-months through four years old focused on Kindergarten readiness. We’re also certified by Arkansas Better Beginnings and provide a Christian-based curriculum and a loving environment to nurture your child’s faith and meet your family’s needs. Formerly known as Creative School and First Kids Mother’s Day Out, our program operates under one name with plenty of daycare options for your family!
We offer 3 days M/W/F, 2 days T/Th, and 5 days.
Classroom hours are:
8:00 am - 2 pm, M-F.
Our part time calendar begins early August and ends mid May with breaks that follow the Springdale School District calendar.
Lower ratios than Arkansas Minimum Licensing Requirements.
Infant/Toddler:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday $435/month
Tues/Thurs $335/month
Preschool/PreK:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday $360/month
Tues/Thurs $260/month
Our program is individualized according to the needs and abilities of the children. We have free play, circle time, crafts, music, outside play, and snacks, all geared for learning. First Kids also has a fall, Christmas, and Valentine’s party. We ask parents to help provide the treats for the parties.
Parents are always welcome to visit. We have a Parent’s Meeting before school starts in the fall. Notes are sent home regularly to let parents know of upcoming events. We use the Brightwheel app as an online form of communication so teachers and parents can contact each other at any time during the day when needed. First Kids also publishes a monthly newsletter informing parents about upcoming events, themes, and special activities.
